Garden Stepping Stone Mosaic Workshop

Service Description

Come join me, Audrey (mosaicist) at The Pavilion, Greenwood Park, St Albans for an afternoon of mosaic making loveliness. During this workshop you will be supplied with a 30cm solid cement round stepping stone to design and create your very own unique mosaic stepping stone design for your garden. You will learn the mosaic technique of creating your mosaic onto fibreglass mesh and then how to transfer and secure your design onto your stepping stone substrate. how to create your mosaic design onto fibreglass mesh and then cement your completed design onto the stepping stone substrate, creating a beautiful long lasting design that will add a burst of colour for your garden this summer. So come! On your own, with a friend or family. Sessions are very relaxed and welcoming and suitable for complete beginners and those already experienced in mosaic making. The workshop is usually attended by adults but is open to children who are keen to attend with a participating adult and who will be happy to participate for the duration (guide age 11 years+). So once you book, have a think about what wonderful design you you'd like to create for your stepping stone and I will be in touch with a little nearer the time with the full details of the workshop. Coffee/tea and biscuits are provided throughout the workshop. You may also want to bring along a packed lunch or treat yourself to something lovely from the on site cafe.
