Eco Mosaic Workshop

Service Description

Come join me in the studio space at the Village & Co Shop in Wheathampstead for an afternoon of mosaic making loveliness. In celebration of Sustainable St Albans this June I'll be running an eco friendly session using a selection of surplus, second hand and donated tiles and crockery. So come and explore my large selection of ceramics, china and glass. Whether you're a beginner or experienced in mosaic art, this event is perfect for anyone looking to explore their artistic side. Come join us for an afternoon of crafting, learning, and fun! You'll learn how to snip and place your tiles onto your chosen substrate using tile nippers and explore the technique of picassiette. All materials will be provided and complementary teas, coffee and biccies will be provided. Audrey will give a demonstration on how to grout during the session and you'll be given grout and step by step instructions to take away with you at the end of the day. Places are limited, half the size of my usual classes due to the size of the space so it'll be cosy, friendly and super welcoming. So if you think you might fancy it, book yourself a place! My workshops are usually attended by adults but is open to young people who are keen to attend with a participating adult and who will be happy to participate for the duration (guide age 11 years+).
