Come join me, Audrey (mosaicist) at Greenwood Park Community Centre, St Albans for an afternoon of mosaic making loveliness. Join us for a delightful Garden Art Workshop where you will learn the art of creating a beautiful and unique mosaic design to adorn your garden. In this workshop, you will discover how to work with fibreglass mesh, to arrange and adhere different materials for different substrates resulting in a stunning masterpiece to take home. Creating your mosaic on fiberglass mesh gives you the flexibility to apply it to a wide range of hard surfaces. So, whether you’ve been dreaming of transforming your garden bistro table with a vibrant new tabletop, or imagining one-of-a-kind mosaic flowers climbing up your garden wall, this workshop is the perfect place to start! Or maybe you fancy a beautiful garden mirror or a funky stepping stone to adorn your flower beds! However you fancy spending your 5 hours of creativity, you are sure to go home with an original bespoke design. Don't worry if you're a beginner, I will guide you through each step with patience and encouragement. Using a variety of colourful tiles and other materials, you'll explore your creativity in a relaxed and supportive environment. Throughout the workshop, you'll enjoy a hands-on experience that may inspire a sense of accomplishment and joy. By the end of the session, you'll have your own personalised stepping stone, a tangible memory of your creative journey in the class. Come along and let your imagination soar in this engaging and fulfilling activity. Coffee/tea and biscuits are provided throughout the workshop. You may also want to bring along a packed lunch or treat yourself to something lovely from the on site café.
