Investing in a school or community mosaic is a big step, and we know fundraising plays a key role. To help you plan, we've provided guide prices so you can easily estimate the funding required for grants or PTA initiatives. Direct Mosaics
Choosing the Right Mosaic for Your School or Community
When commissioning a mosaic, you have two primary options:

Mosaic Board: This option provides a portable artwork that is displayed on a chosen wall. Its key advantage is flexibility; the mosaic can be easily moved to a new location if required in the future.

Fibreglass Mesh Mosaic: For a truly permanent installation, a fibreglass mesh mosaic is cemented directly onto a wall or the ground, becoming an integral part of the building's aesthetic, similar to the illustrative round mosaic you see.
Regardless of the method you choose, a school or community mosaic represents a valuable and lasting investment. It's a project that actively engages the entire community, fostering a sense of shared ownership and pride, and will be a source of enjoyment for generations to come.
Our Mosaic Creation Process For Schools
Here's how we bring your mosaic vision to life, from initial concept to stunning completion:

Initial Consultation: We'll meet to discuss your ideas and aspirations for the mosaic.

Design & Refinement: We'll present a first draft of the mosaic design. We'll then collaborate to tweak and finalize it, ensuring it perfectly captures your vision.

Preparation: We dedicate 2 days to finalizing the design and meticulously preparing the tiles.

Community Creation: Your school/community group will actively participate in the mosaic's creation during 1-3 dedicated design days at your school or venue.

Studio Completion: We'll take the mosaic to our studio from anywhere between 2-8 days to complete the intricate tile work, grouting, cleaning, and sealing, ensuring a durable and beautiful finish.

Delivery: Your completed mosaic will be delivered back to your school, ready to be displayed and admired for years to come.
1m x 1m mosaic inclusive of design time, at least 1 day contact with the school/community group to contribute to the mosaic creation, and completion of the mosaic in my studio and delivery back to school - From £950
2m x 1m mosaic inclusive of design time, 2-3 days contact with the school/community to contribute to the mosaic creation, and completion of the mosaic in my studio and delivery back to school- From £1850
2m x 2m mosaic inclusive of design time, 2-4 days contact with the school/community to contribute to the mosaic creation, and completion of the mosaic in my studio and delivery back to school- From £3250

What’s Next?
The next step is to get a date in the diary and start planning our contact days. I’ll send over a project agreement along with a simple timetable for each day we’re with your group. This will show when each class will take part in the mosaic and how long they'll have, helping everything run smoothly and making sure everyone gets to enjoy the fun of creating a beautiful design together.
Payment Details
To secure your booking, a 30% deposit payment is required for the project to proceed. Then, 60% is due once we’ve completed the contact days with your group, and the final 10% when your mosaic is delivered or installed.
