Come join me Audrey (mosaicist) at The Pavilion, Greenwood Park, St Albans for a day of mosaic making loveliness! I will support you in creating your very own unique gazing ball mosaics for your garden. Colourful, bright and beautiful sparkliness adding colour to your garden all year round.
So I've not yet got my own photos to add just yet, but they're coming soon!! So if you want to see what a gazing ball is do check out Pinterest or Google for some amazing examples.
On the day I will have the balls prepped and ready for you to begin your design, but before we get going with that you will learn how to create a successful base, working with a styrofoam ball, fibreglass mesh and tile adhesive to prepare a second ball that you'll take away with you to complete at home. On the pre-prepped ball you'll learn how to design and effective design, how to snip and place your tiles effectively using an external glue that will be dry and ready to be grouted at home or on the day. All materials will be provided and should you not complete your tile work on the day you'll be given all necessary materials to take home with you and I'll be onhand to support you to complete.
Guidance will be given each step of the way and demonstrations on how to grout will be given during the session.
So come! On your own, with a friend or family. Sessions are very relaxed and welcoming and suitable for complete beginners and those already eperienced in mosaic making. The workshop is usually attended by adults but is open to children who are keen to attend with a participating adult and who will be happy to participate for the duration (guide age 10 years+).

Coffee/tea and biscuits are provided throughout the workshop. You may also want to bring along a packed lunch or treat yourself to something lovely from the Lazy Llama Cafe which is on site!
